Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time, in one click, from the billing page: it opens Stripe’s billing portal, where cancellation takes effect immediately. Your subscription then runs until the end of the period you already paid for; you are not charged again. No phone calls, no emails, no retention flows.

Yearly plans renew fairly

After your first year, a yearly subscription continues as an open-ended subscription that you can cancel at any time with one month’s notice, with a pro-rata refund of the unused remainder of any renewal you already paid. It never silently locks you into another fixed year. This follows Dutch consumer law (the “Wet Van Dam”) and we apply it to all customers, wherever you live.

Free trial

If a trial is offered, your card is registered up front but charged nothing until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial’s end date, shown on your billing page and in your confirmation email, and you pay nothing at all.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your ForgeMuse subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason. To do so, tell us of your decision before that period expires:

• email [email protected] with an unambiguous statement that you withdraw, or
• use the model withdrawal form below (its use is not obligatory).

If you withdraw, we reimburse every payment we received from you for the subscription without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you. Because ForgeMuse starts providing the service immediately, if you asked us to begin during the withdrawal period we may deduct an amount proportionate to the service already provided before you told us you withdraw.

Refunds beyond the statutory right

Statutory rights aside: if ForgeMuse is not working out within your first 14 days on a paid plan, write to [email protected] and we will refund your first payment in full, no questions asked. For anything else, ask; we would rather refund a month than argue about one.
